FINISHING
Finally I got to add finishing touches to each page and put everything together. I made the cover so that it would go along with the theme of the book. It's pretty bright and colorful. At last I could hold it up and be finished with it.

WORKING
It actually took quite a while to create each page because I had to figure out how everything would fit together and also how to make it look visually pleasing. This was the fun but also difficult part. Sometimes pieces wouldn't fit together so I had to redo it. I also had to try to figure out ways to make each page different and fun.

RESEARCH
The next step was to look at other pop-up books and figure out where to start to make my own. I found a couple basic instructional books. These gave me ideas on how I wanted to portray my own images.
IDEA
First off I had to figure out what I wanted to make the theme of my pop-up book. To start I just kept my eyes and ears open to new ideas. Just looking around I could see the many different things that make me smile. I decided to make this the theme of my book because happiness is something that can't always be described by words.
